Study Programmes
As a training intermediary, we work in partnership with prestigious educational institutions in the provision of training and study programmes in the United Kingdom. Various programmes will give you an opportunity to earn while you learn.
Overseas Nurses’ Programme (ONP)
All nurses wishing to work in the United Kingdom, including those who have trained and qualified overseas must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). ONP is designed equip overseas nurses with the necessary academic and clinical skills to gain Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and also prepare them to apply knowledge, understanding and skills when performing to the standards required within their UK employment.
There are two integrated parts:
Students may be required to undertake one or both parts depending on individual assessment by the NMC. The duration of the programme is 3-6 months.
National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Programmes
NVQ’s are practical based qualifications. You have to demonstrate your competence across a wide range of work tasks.
MCR Ltd. offers a variety of programmes in partnership with Peterborough College of Adult Education suitable to your own learning needs which include:

Training Courses
Comprehensive Induction Course
An induction course can be tailored to your own professional development needs. We can provide a full week in-house training to prepare and equip you with the underlying knowledge on the health care delivery system which includes a comprehensive input on the following:
Communication & Interpersonal Skills Workshop
At MCR Ltd. we recognise that communication is paramount in all aspects of the delivery of service. This course is aimed at overseas staff who may wish to enhance confidence on their ability to understand, speak English and interact with others in various settings particularly at work. This a one whole day course, full of interactive sessions and participants always see it as ‘a great value for money on a memorable day of fun!’
